Modelling and simulation of Factory System of Systems (Factory SoS): a set of tools and standard models enabling to describe Factory of the Future (FoF) digitally and truthfully in their multiple dimensions, including vital streams from and to their ecosystem (financial, goods & products, information…) to support decision-making for process optimization and resilience.
- Cyber-physical modelling and digital twins, enabling modelling and simulation of physical and IT-technical hazards and their consequences
- Eco-system modelling, allowing support for real-time management decision-making
- Human-behavior modelling, in order to understand an essential element influencing the functioning of the factory of the future and to be able to consider it in decision-making processes.
- Factory SoS modelling, incorporating the capabilities described above to create a digital twin of the factory of the future that can be used to optimize factory designs and validate functional principles and resilience mechanisms.
